Why We Exist
URHired was founded on a simple belief: that neurodivergent talent doesn't need fixing - the hiring process does.
Our founder, Owen Murray, spent 13 years as a recruitment leader at LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and Accenture - while quietly managing severe anxiety himself. When redundancy came, three times, he experienced first-hand what neurodivergent jobseekers face every day. A process designed for a narrow definition of "professional" that consistently fails the people with the most to offer.
That gap between talent and opportunity became impossible to ignore.
Today URHired is an AI-powered interview preparation platform deployed through organisations universities, and community organisations across Ireland, the UK, and the US - helping people walk into interviews with genuine confidence and come out with jobs changing their lives.
We exist because one in five people are neurodivergent. Because neurodivergence is not a weakness. And because the right preparation changes everything.
